| North Star Herding Group Club (NSHGC)
was
established in January of 2000. It gained AKC Club recognition in 2002.
In November 2004, NSHGC was granted permission to hold fully sanctioned
Conformation, Obedience and Agility trials. This club was founded to
support Herding Breeds and the people who love and work with them. |

Our primary
objectives are:

Encourage and promote quality breeding and
performance of all purebred Herding breed dogs

To urge members and breeders to accept the standards
of their breeds approved by the AKC.

To protect the interests of the Herding Breeds and
encourage sportsmanlike competition. To conduct sanctioned trials, dog
shows, obedience trials, and other performance events under the rules of
the AKC.
